"Ahaha. Hi. What can I do for you today?"
This is an anthropomorphic personification of my laptop, which I have always called 'Mal'.
One day, after I spent a long time roundly cursing Mal for something that turned out to be entirely my own fault, someone remarked that if my laptop could think, it would probably be quite upset that I was constantly blaming it for things it hadn't done. So was born this personification.
Very used to being blamed for his user's mistakes, he is a little neurotic. He has a nervous laugh and is always eager to help despite the fact that he probably won't be thanked. Despite everything, he is actually quite good at his job
Other things I imagine he would say:
"If, uh, if you'll stop swearing at me you'll see it's really quite simple..."
"Maybe, maybe this would work better if you read the instructions first? Just a thought?"
"Why do you keep making me go to this website when you know it gives me a migraine?"
"I don't know where I put the file! I'm sorry!"

Poor Mal. At least my Flinn doesn't get abused so, even though I don't use him as much as my other laptop (who incidentally may or may not have a name that I've forgotten).
